TEAM is seeking an experienced Product Developer to work with our Pharmaceutical Device team in Woodstock, Georgia.

The ideal candidate for the Product Developer role is someone who is passionate about creating new and innovative products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Our new Product Developer will research, discover, and then prioritize user requirements to create extremely innovative products that provide superior user experience over the competition. Their primary responsibility lies in defining a clear vision for each product that includes new features and innovations that achieve an upgraded user experience. In addition, our Product Developer will effectively communicate the new requirements to the engineering teams while keeping up to date on all developments essential to achieving the new products’ desired outcomes.

Full-Time Hybrid Work Setting:

This new position will report to the Director of Product Development. This Product Developer position is in Woodstock, Georgia within a hybrid work setting for essential in office work, remote office work, and business travel. Business travel will include days working in compounding pharmacy environments and industry related trade shows.

Product Developer Responsibilities:

This new Product Developer position will be responsible for gathering customer requirements and defining their vision with engineering as well as overseeing product strategy, pricing and positioning strategies. This professional will strategically combine both product planning and marketing to manage the development of a product through to a successful launch into the market.

  • Gain a deep understanding of user’s needs and experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
  • Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
  • Developing product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Drive product launches including working with marketing team, executives, and other product development team members.
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.

Requirements and skills

A great Product Developer needs to have attention to detail, excellent communication skills, knowledge about the market they’re working within and industry trends to develop and oversee a successful product strategy.

  • Proven work experience in product development and/or product management.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience working in a compounding pharmacy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification and/or pharmacy experience preferred.
